Palazzo Seriman

Elegant and impressive Palazzo once belonged to the Contarini patrician family, featuring a late gothic structure and renovated during the 17th century.
The amazing portal of the main entrance and the beautiful four light windows with balconies of the two main floors are original of the gothic period, while the majestic Istrian stone staircase is of the Baroque period.
The palace is composed of: a ground floor of 753 sqm, a first mezzanine level of 458 sqm, a Noble floor of 625 sqm, a second mezzanine of 233 sqm, a second floor of 572 sqm, an attic of 216 sqm, a terrace of 55 sqm and a garden of 781 sqm.
The noble floor and the second floor feature the typical Venetian tripartite layout, with the main central living room called portego with two lateral wings presenting spacious rooms (sitting rooms and bedrooms) decorated with eighteenth-century stuccoes, marble door frames and original briar-root doors with mouldings.
The floorings are in Istrian stone and Verona red marble on the ground floor, while on the upper floors there are Venetian and parquet floorings.
A wide terrace on the second floor and a large garden complete the beautiful Palazzo.
In addition to the elegant main entrance, there are two secondary accesses and two water door accesses, one of which at the border of the garden.
Situated in a quiet, tucked away spot, in a very central area of Venice in the Cannaregio sestiere, close to the Castello and San Marco ones.

The area offers a superb range of shops, bars and restaurants. The property is also close to the Ca' d'Oro and Rialto bridge and the famous Fish market.

The same area offers interesting cultural attractions such as the Basilica di SS. Giovanni e Paolo, the Gesuiti and SS. Apostoli Churches and the splendid 15th century church of Miracoli.

The nearest boat stops of Fondamente Nove, Ca' D'Oro and Rialto allow easy access to all parts of Venice.
